The project description needs much more detail, including any removal and reconstruction ofistructures with dimensions(either length by width or square footage). The survey depicts replacing on-grade or above grade patios, platforms, additions, etc. but the dimensions are not all on the survey or on a stamped site plan. Any proposed new structure or remove/replace structure needs dimensions on the survey and/or site plan. If you are raising the foundation, please add this to the written project description, how high and in what area. Your current written project description speaks of replacing the pool patio and slightly modifying it. Please have the new square footage noted on the survey and in the written project description, along with the proposed patio material added to the written description. If you are replacing the retaining walls to accommodate a modified pool patio, side elevations that include the height, length, width and material need to be submitted. Below is an example of a detailed written project description to assist in understanding what I am requesting. a Wetland Permit to demolish existing 2,199 sq.ft. dwelling (full basement portion of foundation to remain), and reconstruct in same location a 1,781sq.ft. 1 & 2-story dwelling consisting of a 591sq.ft. two-story portion over remaining full basement; a 440sq.ft. two-story portion over new crawl space foundation; a 1.5-story addition over new crawl space foundation; a 335.2sq.ft. one-story portion with 415.4sq,ft. roof deck above; an 80.2sq.ft. unenclosed covered porch with steps; a 215.6sq.ft. deck with steps and pergola above; a 3'x10' stoop with steps; a 4'x10.5' stoop with steps; and a 4'x10.5' unenclosed covered porch with steps; construct a landward 15'x34' in-ground swimming pool and two (2) 128sq.ft. grade-level masonry patios; install 4' high pool enclosure fencing; construct 234 linear foot grade-level masonry walk and 62sq.ft. masonry landing with steps; remove and replace existing septic system with new UA OWTS sanitary system; install a stormwater drainage system; replace utility pole and overhead wires with buried electric; remove portion of existing driveway; and to establish and perpetually maintain a 10-foot wide vegetated non-turf buffer along the landward edge of the top of bank, allowing for a 4' wide cleared path to permitted wood deck Thank you. In order to find the legal mailing addresses to the SCTM#'s please visit the Southold Town website at https:Hsoutholdtownny..qov and go to the Assessors page. Under the Assessor's page click on "Forms and Links." Under that page, click on the "2024 Assessment Roll." This will take time to download as it is a large pdf. Once downloaded when you go into it you will see that the list goes numerically by property tax map numbers (SCTM#'s). Scroll down to find the SCTM#'s listed above. The legal mailing address to each of the neighboring properties can be found directly under the property tax map number on the far-left side of the lists. Please mail each property listed above a completed copy of the Notice to Adjacent Property Owners form and a photocopy of the proposed plan/site plan (construction pages do not need to be mailed). Each neighbor's noticing packet must be mailed by certified return receipt mail through the USPS no less than seven days prior to the Public Hearing date. After all mailings have been submitted to the postmaster, all receipts from the mailings and the completed Proof of Mailing form must be submitted to this office prior to the Public Hearing date. The bright green Notice of Hearing card needs to be posted in front of your property close enough to the street that public can read it. This sign must be posted and stay posted for no less than seven consecutive days prior to the Public Hearing. After the seven days you can complete the Proof of Posting form which needs to be submitted to this office prior to your hearing.
