Enviromnental Analyst Craig Jobes to attend the NYS Invasive Species Expo in Saratoga

WHEREAS, the Town of Southold has received electronic notification on July 28, 2025
from the NYS, Retirement System concerning the retirement of Frederick D Bell effective
July 1, 2025. Now therefore be it;

Designation of Authorized Electrical Inspectors
Resolved that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby adds the following company
to its list of authorized electrical inspectors on behalf of the Town, in accordance with
Chapter 126-2 of the Town Code, to accept requests for electrical inspections and re-
inspections of electrical installations in the Town and to issue a report for each such
inspection to the Town Building Inspector, provided that the cost and expense of such
inspections shall not be a charge against the Town. Such electrical inspectors must submit
proof of insurance,with minimum limits of 2 Million Dollars naming the Town of Southold
as a certificate holder and additional insured, in such form as is deemed satisfactory to the

appoints Dylan Brown to the position of probationary Police Officer at a salary of

2025 at the Suffolk County Police Academy or an equivalent training academy. Effective
August 18, 2025, the above-named individual will become an active probationary Police

Appoint Rashad Lawson Probationary,Police Officer
RESOLVED effective August 18, 2025, the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
appoints Rashad Lawson to the position of probationary Police Officer at a salary of
$,56,135.00 at the cornnienceinent of the recruit police office training session, August IS,
2025 at the Suffolk County Police Academy or an equivalent training academy. Effective
August 18, 2025, the above-named individual will become an active probationary Police
Officer for the Town of Southold Police Department as long as said candidate meets the
requirements for employment.
