Klipp at Graenport~ on Thursd~y~ December 19~ 1957o The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. with .the followinf present: Supervisor Norman E. Klipp; Councilman Albertson; Justices Tuthill~ Clark and Demarest and Town Attorney Terry. In the absence of Town Clerk Booth, the minutes were taken by Council- man Lester M. Albertson. Florence Ziegler appeared before the Town Board regarding the application for renewal of a Trailer Camp permit. After a lengthy discussion, it was furtherldecided that permit would not be issued until such time as 'all provisions of ;existing Trailer Camp Ordinance be complied with. Moved Clark; seconded by Jus~ce Tuthilt; RESt the petition of Arthur Mehl for a change of zone from. "A" Residential and Agricultural District to aB" Business District be and hereby is granted. Moved by JUstice Demarest; seconded by Juatice Clark; RESOLVE~: 'That 'the Petition of Jack and Irving Levin for a change of zone from '!A" Residential & Agricultural District to "B" Business District be and hereby is granted. Stenson (2) VeroniCa Frohne and (3) Charles M. KinE ~o~.~ change of zonp from "A" Eesidential & Agricultural District to "B" Business District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held by the Southold Town Board at the Superviosr's Office at Greenport~ on Tuesday~ Jan. 21, 1958, at 7:30 P.M. on the proposals of Henry G. Barren Hill s~d Adelaide Hill for the estmblishment of an open deveTopement area be denied by the Town Board on grounds that it does nqt~Pro~ide for 50 foot width right of way.and that the map does not contai~ dimensions and other sufficient informa~on~ and was directed to be returned. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Jmmtice Demarest: WHEREAS, A petition bearing the signatures of non-resident property owners and petition bearing the signatures of resident property owners of Fishers Island has been presented to the Town Board requesting that necessary action be taken to amend a section of the Fishers Island Ferry District Ac~ that qualifies voters so that only non-r~sident andresident property owners on the last completed tax assessment roll be allowed to vote at the annual District Election, now~ therefore~ ~e it RESOLVED: That Norman Eo Klipp, Supervisor~ be ~nd he hereby, is directed to transmit' to the Honorable ~ving L. Price, Jrt, ~tate ~ssemblyman~ the above mentioned petitions, and be it further RESOLVED: That the Honorable Irving Lo Price, Jr. State Assemblym~n~ call this matter to the ~ttention of the Honorable Elisha T. Barrett, State Senator?~and be it further RESOLVED~ That they be requested to take whatever action they deem necessary to incorporate the request in the Fishers Island Ferry District Act. AMENDMENT NO. ~ Move~ by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That the Building Zone Ordinance (including the Building Zone Maps) of the Town of Southeld, be amended~as follows: 1. By changing from "A" Residential and AEricuitural District to '~B" Busin- ess District the following described property: ALL that tract or parcel of Iand~ situated at Cutehogue~ Town-of Southold~ Suffolk CoUnty, New York, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the westerly side of a proposed road known as Griffing Street at the s~uthwesterly corner of the premises herein.des- cri. bed, said point being 200.0 feet northerly as measuredalong the easter- ly side of Griffing Street from its intersection at the n~therly side of Main Rs~d§tfrom said point of beginning~ running thence in a northerly direction along the easterly side of Griffing Street~ 100.O fe~t to other land of'Mehl; running thence in an easterly direction along said~land of Mehl, 130 feet to land of K~llmer; running thence i~ a southerly direction along said ta~d of Kollmer~ 100 feet to other land-of Mehl; running thence in a westerly direction, l~O.O feet to the point or place of beginning. 2.
