HomeMy WebLinkAboutTB-11/07/1957 (2)MEETING OF NOVEMBER 7~ 19~7, A public hearing was held by the Southold Town Board at the Town Clerk's office at Southold~ on Thursday~ Novemb?r 7, 1957 at 7:00 PoM~ with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Councilman Albertson; Justices Tuthill, .Clark and Demarest; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth, This~ting wqs on the proposal to amend the Building Zone Ordinance of the TOwn of Southold by changing from 'A" Residential and Agricultur- al District to 'B" Business District on a parcel of land being east of the Village oC Greenport~ also a parcel of land situate.near the of Gree~port~ also a parcel of land situate at Cutchogue. Also by adding thereto Section lO13 (Exceptions as to certain subdivision lo~s),~ll of the lots o~ the ~ollowing described maps shall be excepted from the prO~i~ii~n~i.~of~Se~O~ '~0~ herein,~ to amend Article l~ Sec. 400 Subdiv- isioni~lg~ ~o add Arti~te 1V Sec. 400 SubdiVision 17. The hearing was duly closed at 8:00 of this hearing were recorded by George T. Lederle. P~ea~o~l~n~ LaGrant Chapman for a change of Zone from "A~ Residential ~nd Agricultural District to "B" Business District be and hereby is granted. Clark and DemareSt. Moved by Councilman ~lbertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That the petition of William M. Beebo for a change of zone from ~A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B" Business District be and hereby is granted. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilman Albertson; Justices Tuthill, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Demarest: RESOLVED: That the proposal to amend the Building Zone Ordinance to add Article 1V Section ~00 subdivision 17 be and hereby is approved. VOte of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Cotu~cilman Albertson; Justices Tuthill~ Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Demarest: RESOLVED: That the Building Zone O~ dinance including the building zone maps in Town of Southold, Suffolk County~ New York~ b~ amending .and by adding thereto the following: Section lOl~ (Exceptions as to certain subdivision lots) all of the lots on the following described ms? shall be excepted from the provisions of Section ~0~ herein. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilman Albertson; Justices Tuthill~ Clark and Demarest.
