In the Matter of the Petition of the COUNTY OF
SUFFOLK for the purpose of acquiring the real
properties in the Town of Southold, required in
connection with the reconstruction of MIDDLE RECEIPT AND RELEASE
ROAD, C.R. 27, MIDDLE ROAD EXTENSION, RE: MAP No. 28
C.R. 27 A, MIDDLE ROAD EXTENSION,
C.R. 27 B, in the said Town of Southold, Suf-
folk County, New York.
WHEREAS,pursuant to the provisions of the Nassau,Suffolk and Erie Counties Improvement Act the above
entitled proceeding was duly instituted and that by an order duly entered therein three commissioners of estimate to
ascertain and determine the compensation to be made to the respective owners of the real property to be acquired in
said proceeding were duly appointed and that the oaths of said commissioners were duly filed in the office of the
County Clerk of Suffolk County on June 25, 1962 19 ,and that thereupon title in fee simple to
the property to be acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk,New York,and
WHEREAS, immediately prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of Suffolk
JOSEPH ZIMNOSKI, and
BERTHA ZIMNOSKI, his wife, of Grand Avenue, Mattituck, New York
owned the parcel of property acquired as aforesaid and designated in said proceeding as Map No.28
which said parcel of property is more particularly described as follows:
ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of Southold, County of
Suffolk, State of New York for the construction of Middle Road Extension County
Road No. 27 B as shown on Map No. 28 and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly boundary of the existing Conklin Road
at the intersection of the said boundary with the division line between the lands of
Joseph Zimnoski, Jr., and Bertha Zimnoski, his wife, reputed owners on the south,
and the lands of Irwin A. Tuthill and Anna S. Tuthill, reputed owners on the north,
said point being 66 ±feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from station
74+ 84 ±of the hereinafter described survey center line of the proposed construc-
tion of Middle Road Extension County Road No. 27 B, thence easterly along said
division line 125 t feet to a point on the division line between the lands of Joseph
Zimnoski, Jr., and Bertha Zimnoski, his wife, reputed owners on the west, and
the lands of Joseph Zaleski and Elizabeth Zaleski, reputed owners on the east,
said point being 35 ±feet distant northerly, measured at right angles from station
76+ 04 t of said center line; thence southerly along last mentioned division line 60 ±
feet to a point on the division line between the lands of Joseph Zimnoski, Jr., and
Bertha Zimnoski, his wife, reputed owners on the north and the lands of L. Barron
Hill, Adelaide H. Hill and Hedwig P. Terry, reputed owners on the south, the last
mentioned point being 22 ±feet distant southerly measured at right angles from sta-
tion 75 + 84±of the said center line; thence westerly along last mentioned division
line 125 ±feet to its intersection with the said easterly boundary of Conklin Road,
the last mentioned point being 09 ±feet distant northerly, measured at right angles,
from station 74+ 66 ±of said center line; thence northerly along the last mentioned
easterly boundary of said existing Conklin Road 60 ±feet to the point of beginning; bei
7,500 ±s. f. or 0.173 acres more or less.
The above mentioned survey center line is a portion of the survey center line
for the proposed reconstruction of Middle Road C.R. 27 & Middle Road Extension
C.R. 27 A and the construction of Middle Road Extension C.R. 27 R as shLi
