MEETING OF JULY 30, 1957.
The...Sout'hold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Ktipp
at Greenport, on Tuesday~ July 30~ 1957. The ~eeting was c~lled to
order at.l::36 P.M. with the folloQing present. Supervisor KliDD:
Councilman ~Ibertsen, Justices Tuthill, and Demarest$ superintendent
of Highways~Price; Town Attorney Terry and Town-Clerk Booth.
Moved 1by Councilman Albertson; seconded by'Justice Demarest:
RESOLVED: That the minutes of July 9 be and hereby are duly approved
as read.
VOte of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilman Atbertson;
Justices Tuthill and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Demarest:
RESODVED:That the minutes of. July 2~ be and hereby are duly approved
as read.

Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board will
be hold-at the office of Supervisor NormanE. Klipp at Greenport,-
on Tuesday, August 6, 1957, at 1:30 P.M.

Moved by Councilman Albe~tson; seconded by Justice Demarest:
WHEREAS, the property of Fred Young at Arshamomaque, Town of SoUthold,
was inadvertently zoned as PA" REsidential and Agricultural District
when it was intended ~hat it be zoned as "B" Business District~ and
WHEREAS, the Board has concluded that Mr. Young should not be required
to pay the $25.00 fee te accomplish the correction~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be
and he hereby is authorized ~ and directed to return to Mr. Young the
$25.00 fee which accompanied the petition.

Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Albertson;
RESOLVED: That Superviso~ Norman E. Klipp be and he hereby is author-
ized to contribute the sum of $100,00 to the North Fork Publicity
Committee to help defray the expense of advertising Southold Town in
Booklets.

RESOLVED: That effective as of August 3, 1957, the salar%es of Police
Patrolman (Constables) James P. Kelly, Henry Y. King, James Fitzpatrick
Edward S. Brush, Harry Smith~ Henry B. Faucon, Joseph H. Sawicki be and

RESOLVED. That Bond No. 587032, issued by the Travelers Indemnity Co.
on behalf of Wilfred C. Sinclair, in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
($5,000.00) be and the same is hereby approved as to its form, manner
of execution and sufficiency of sureties therein.

of execution and sufficiency of sureties therein.

WHEREAS~ a communication was received fro~ the residents of Mattituck
requesting that a NO BARKING zone ~be established on the north~side of
Route 25 i~n the vicini~ty of Mattituck, ~
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor recommend to the~N~w ~
York State Department of Public Works. that a NO BARKING-zone be~estab~
lished on the north side of~Route 25 in the micinity of Mattituck ex-~-~
tending 50 feet from the east side of Wickham Ave.

Justices Tuthill and Demarest.
DonalddFredericks and Herbert Rosenberg appeared before the.TGwn Board
in regard to the condition of the Trailer Camp of Jonathon Overton on
Terry Lane in Southold. They expressed the desire that the camp b~
required to comply with the Trailer Camp 0rdinanc~ and the Board indic-
ated the intention to amend.~he ordinance.The Town Attorney-waslinstr~ct-
ed to prepare a proposed amendment.
Hon. L. Bmrron Hill appeared before ihe Board complaining about'the
condition of Wells Avenue in Southold. He stated that the road was
damaged by farm machinery and that the dust and dirt blew in the direction
of his property, which was very unpleasant a~ times and wanted to know
if something could be done to stop it. Councilman Albertson stated?that
he would take the matter up with ~harles Grigonis, the owner of the~farm
land ~nd see if he would discontinue using the road for a hea~ landl to
turn his machinery on. Supt. Price stated he would have the road oiled.
