Re: Possible Lot Line Modification for Current Owners of
SQTM Nos., 9010-010.00, 0 ,,O0, 1 ,020, 018.00
Dear Heather.
I have enclosed a print of a Lot Line Change map that was approved by the
Planning Board in or around 2010 and later by the Suffolk County Department of Health
Services. My client Sarah Tremaine is the current owner of the Baker parcel (shown as
Lot 2 on the map). She has reached agreement with the owners of Lot 1 as shown on the
map to swap portions of their respective properties totaling about 2,800 square feet each.
The lot line change would involve the transfer by Lot 2 to Lot 1 of the two
areas highlighted in red at the northeasterly border of Lot 2 and the transfer by Lot 1 to Lot
2 of the area highlighted in green at the southeasterly corner of Lot 1. The purpose of the
transfer of the areas highlighted in red would be to eliminate certain lawn and landscaping
encroachments. The purpose of the transfer of the area highlighted in green would be to
widen the entrance to Lot 2 to facilitate access for construction which will involve the
delivery of modular house units on trucks that could not otherwise make the turn staying
entirely within land of Lot 2.
The parties have considered alternatives to a line change but prefer to
proceed with that option unless you foresee objections by your staff or by the Planning
Board itself. In that regard, I would much appreciate your comments on this proposal.
Best regards.
Sincerely,
