RE: Fishers Island Sewer District—Sewer System Connection for SCTM#1000-12-1-7.1
Dear Mr. Parent:
I am writing in reference to the property identified by SCTM No. 1000-12-1-7.1. If a singleµ
family dwelling is to be constructed within the existing building currently located on this
parcel it will be required)to connect to the sewer system as it lies within the Fishers Island
Sewer District(FISD). The developer of the property will be required to construct all sewer
infrastructure necessary to connect the residence to the sewer system, including, but not
limited to, building laterals, sewer mains and sewer manholes.
All new connections to the sewer must be constructed by the developer in accordance with
Chal2ter 215: Sewers and Sewage Dis osal Part 2: Sewer Use, of the Southold Town
Code. Once connected to the sewer system,the property owner will be charged an annual
sewer rent in accordance with Chapter 215 Part 3:Sewer Rents and Char es. The annual
sewer rent is currently$900 for a single-family dwelling.
