Re:2355 Village Lane,Orient
Dear Kim,
Attached please find the requested documents for the amendment to the Certificate of Appropriateness for 2355 Village Lane,
Orient. The proposed project received a Certificate of Appropriateness in January,2021 that was amended once in December of
2022 to raise the foundation, and a second time in May of 2024 to construct an HVAC condenser enclosure. The reason for
the requested amendment is that the owner would like to replace the existing wire fence.
Please let us know when the next HPC meeting is so that I can attend and answer any questions.
Thank you in advance,

Good afternoon Kim, j
I am attaching the application here. I apologize for not including it in the materials I dropped off this
morning.
i
As I mentioned when we spoke on the phone I don't believe that a stamped drawing is necessary j
because a fence does not require a building permit and the drawing is by the landscape company. If it is
decided that a stamp is needed for HPC submission, we will put the drawing on our title block sheets and
then I will stamp it.

Hi Meryl,
I received your submission requesting an approval by the HPC for the installation
of a new 3 feet white picket fence in the front yard. Thank you. I reviewed prior
HPC C of A's and don't see that we addressed a fence in the front yard in the past.
Am I correct?
I believe a new application should be provided to address the fence, only. This
will not cause any delays in scheduling a meeting, or approvals by the HPC.

See attached application form and complete only sections that apply. Once
completed and submitted, I can add you to the June 26, 2025 agenda. Contact me
