The inspection covered the location and size of the septic system components. The inspection results are; —The System includes a precast concrete septic tank (1500 gallon) and one precast concrete leaching pool. The pool has precast concrete leaching system has a total effective depth 16'. The system is 8'diameter and contains multiple rings. The is a concrete cover for access. I'm looking at the plans and application for the renovation to the English residence in Cutchogue, and a bit more info needs to be added to the drawing set. -REScheck...we do need one. I see the reference to R503.1 paragraph 2, however that exception doesn't apply to this project. The exceptions can only be used when you are not increasing the energy area of the building, and this project does increase as you are adding that second floor dormer area. So we will be looking for a RES, especially since all cavities are exposed and new insulation is being installed. On the plus side-this project will not require a blower door test. -On the first floor plan, please call out the windows in the bedrooms and show they are compliant for egress. -Also on first floor, some kind of framing notes for the new skylights is needed. -Second floor, can you show a height for that closet that's being accessed from the storage area.. is there enough head height to walk through there? Is that closet conditioned with bypass doors that open to an unfinished storage area?
