HomeMy WebLinkAboutBorghese Vineyard 2025-22 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to Times Review to hold Special Event 2025-23 at the Borghese Vineyard, County Road 48, Cutchogue, New York as applied for in Application BV- 1 a for Special Event Celebrating local Farms, Food, Restaurant and Wineries on the North Fork on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 from 6PM to 11 PM with the following conditions from Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning, Division of Planning and Environment : 1. The special use permit shall be valid on August 28th only; and 2. The "Northforker Wine & Food Classic" special event shall be conducted in accordance with the proposal and updated site plan received by the Suffolk County Department of Economics Development and Planning, Division of Planning and Environment, on August 28, 2025. 3. The "Northforker Wine & Food Classic" special event shall not adversely impact the viability of the agricultural operation and/or the associated natural resources; and 4. The landowner shall be responsible for compliance with all conditions of Farmland Committee Resolution No. FC-19-2022, the deed of development rights, the contract of sale, and all applicable federal, state, county, and town regulations, rules and statutes. RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to NOLA to NOFO LLC at Borghese Vineyard, to hold Special Event 2025-22, location of event will be on 17150 Route 48, Cutchogue, New York as applied for in Application BV2a-d for a Music Festival on Thursday, August 14th to Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 4PM-10:30PM. Provided they adhere to all conditions on the application, permit and to the Town of Southold Policy for Special Events. This permit is subject to revocation if the applicant fails to comply with any of the conditions of the approval or is unable to properly control traffic flow into and out of the event and that the Town of Southold is named as additional insured. No parking on preserved land. A temporary fence is needed at 1000-101.00-02.00-018.005. Application fees: Special Events of the same type: $300 for an initial,master application and the first event. Each subsequent event of the same type, up to (or unlimited or limited to)(0) events, requires a fee of$50. All special events require a one-page addendum including the specifics of each individual event. Different types of events require a separate and complete initial,master application. All applications must be submitted at least 60 business days prior to the event. Applicants are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible.Any application submitted between 59 and 30 days before the event will be charged an additional $500 late fee. Any application submitted between 29 and 14 days will be charged a $1000 late fee. Late fees will also apply to late event addenda. Occasional events on private residential properties hosted by the owner thereof that are by invitation such as family gatherings, weddings, graduations,parties or not-for-profit fundraisers do not require permits. On-site food preparation is NOT permitted,although food maybe catered subject to all Suffolk County Department of Health regulations. 9. NO activities associated with this event, including but not limited to parking, in re�ss/egress/access, tent(s) or temporary structure(s), or temporary sanitary facilities, shall be conducted on Town of Southold Purchase of Development Rights land. 10. Issuance of this permit does not authorize in any manner the occupancy of any building exceeding the legal limitations under the fire code or other codes which would prohibit such increased occupancy. 12. Access shall be provided for emergency vehicles,to all public assembly areas, all buildings, all work areas and any additional area where emergencies may occur. Two emergency-fire exits and exit path from the building(s) on the property, to a public way or remote safe area, shall remain open and unobstructed at all times. 13. Music,when outdoors, is required to stop at the time specified in the permit. Placement of the speakers must be in a location that affords the greatest protection from noise intrusion upon adjacent properties. 15. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: ANY VIOLATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONDITIONS LISTED HEREIN WILL TERMINATE THIS PERMIT.
