The Southold Town Board m~t at the office of Supervisor Norman E.
Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, April 12, 19~5. The meeting w~s
called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor
Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson~ C~l~rk and Demarest; Tow~ Super-
i'~tendent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Tow~ Clark
B~th~.
The Board sat at once as a committee on Audit to examine claims
aga~st the Town concludf~g the audit work at ~ O~elock P.M.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by J~stice Albertso~:
RESOLVED: That the m~uutes o~ the meeting of March 22~ 1955, be
and hereby are duly approved as read.

Frank McBride appeared before the Board in regard to a change
in the boundary line at the T~n Dump.
Mr. Kapp appeared before the Board presenting a map of a proposed
highway through his property at Bay View, Town of Southold, re-
questing the Town Board to take over as a public highway. He was
given tentative approval by the Board mntil such time as he has
complied with the highway specifications.
Moved by Justice Tu-thill; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly meeting of this Board will be
held a~ the office 6f Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport,
on Friday, April 22~ 195~, at 1:30 P.M.

Albertson, Clark and Demarest.

RESOLVED: That the Town Clark be and he, hereby is directed to re-
quest the Long Island Lighting Company to install two (2) addit-
ional aerial street lights in the Cutchogue-New Su~folE Lighting
District, said lights to be~placed on Poles No. 6 and No. 9 on
Stillwater Avenue, Fleets Neck, CutchoE~e, New York.

RESOLVED: That the Police Report for the month of March be accepted
by the Town Board and p~aced on file.

WHEREAS, Edward S. Brush, Constable for the Town of Southold, ham
requested a two weeks vacation, starting July lO~ 19~, ~
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Boar~ doze
hereby grant Edward S. Brush a two weeks vacation from his duties
on the Police Force, starting as of July lO~ 1955.

of March. 195~. duly recommend the purchase of certain machinery
pursuant~to t~ pro~isions of Section 152 of the Highway Law,
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that ph~suant to Section 152 of the
Highway Law the Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby authorized

to purchase, in accordance with the provisions of Article 5*A of
the General Municipal Law~ with the approval of the County Super-
intendent of Highways, the following:

revolvingand has independent live boom hoist, equipped with
35 ft. b~om, Fairlead attachment and box o£ spare parts and tools.

WHREEAS, the Town Superintendent of Highways did,,on the 22 day
of March~ 1955, duly recommend the purchase of certain machinery
pursuant to the provisions of ~ection 1~2 of the Eighway Law',
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. that pursuant to Section 1~2 of
the Highway Law the Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby
authorized to purehase~ in accordance with the provisions of
Article 5-A ~f the General Municipal Law, with the approval of
the County Superintendent of Highways, the following:
One 1955 Model 6~03 Chevrolet 2 to Dump ~ruck, body and hoist;
