MEE~ING~ OF FEBRUARY 15, 1955
The Southold Town Board met at the office of the Supervisor,
Norman E. Klipp, at Greenport~ on Tu~sday~ February i5, 1955.
'The meeting wes called to order ai 1.3.0 P.M. With the following
p~esent: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, AlbertsonlClark
and Dem~rest; Town Superintendent of Highways Price;T~WnAttorney
Terry and To~ Clerk Booth.
The Board sat at once as a committee on Audit to examine claims
agains~ ~he Town, concluding ~he .gUdit work' at 2 P.M.

RESOLVED: That the regular monthly Audit meeting of this Board

The Board of Fire Commissioners of the East ~AarionFire DistriCt
~requested a street light be placed on Pole No. 305 in front oF
the new Firehouse.
Moved by. Justices Alberison; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED. That the TownClerk be and he hereby is directed to
request the Long Island Lighting Company to install oneaddit-
ional 100 c p aerial streetlight in th~.~East Marion Lighting
District, saidI light to be.~placed en Pole 305 in front of the
new fire house.

Albertson, Clark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Albertso~; seconded by Justice Clark:
WHEREAS, there was not sufficient amount of money appropriated
for tax maps in the 195~ budget to cover the cost of work necessary
to be done on new tax maps, now therefore be it
RESOLV~B: That Otto W. VanTuyl and Son be authorized to prepare
new tax maps at a cost not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,00.0).

Albertson, Clark and Demarest.
Mr. Ranson G. Miller, Jr., as ~esident of The Wunneweta Pond
Association, applied to the Town Board ~or some financial assist-
anee in dredging the Inlet from Peconic Bay to Wunneweta Pond.

RESOLVED: That Norman E. Klipp, Supervisor, be and he hereby
is authorized to contribute half of the cost up to but not to
exceed Two Hundred and fifty Dollars ($250.00) twards the cost
of dredging the Inlet from Peconic Bay to Wunneweta Pond at
Nassau Point, Town of So thold, N.Y. .
