SPECIAL MEETING OF
AUGUST 26, 1981
A Special Meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals
was held on Wednesday, August 26, 1981 at approximately 4:30
o'clock p.m. at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold,
New York 11971, Building Inspector's Office.
Present were: Charles Grigonis, Jr., Chairman; Robert J.
Douglass; Gerard P. Goehringer; Joseph H. Sawicki. Member
Doyen, Fishers Island, was absent.
The Chairman opened the meeting at approximately 4:30
o'clock p.m., and the board members again deliberated on the
following decisions, which have been reserved previously:
Appeal No. 2851 - Application of Salavatore Caiola.
Appeal No. 2840 - Application of David L. Mudd.
Appeal No. 2848 - Application of Donald C. DeLalla.
Appeal No. 2833 - Application of Northville Industries, Inc.
Appeal No. 2846 - Application of Patricia Bailey.
APPEAL NO. 2846. Application of Patricia A. Bailey, RR~i,
Box 114, Cutchogue, NY for a Variance to the Zoning Ordinance,
Article III, Section 100-31 for approval of insufficient road
frontage of parcel No. 3 and insufficient area of proposed Par-
cel No. 2. Location of Property: Northwest side of Leslie Road
and east side of Bay Avenue, Cutchogue, NY; bounded north by
Nerone, Ficht and McCleery; west by Bay Avenue; south by Maly,
Price, Price; east by Swiatocha; County Tax Map Parcel Nos.
1000-97-4-11, 12 and 17.
A public hearing concerning this appeal was held on
September 17, 1981 after due notice thereof in the local and
official newspapers. Upon review of this file, the Board
finds that the written notice of hearing did no~ contain correct

information concerning the circumstances of this appeal (parti-
cularly with reference to insufficient road frontage) and that
it is not within the authority of this Board to favorably act
on this application as advertised.
Therefore, on motion by Mr. Griognms, seconded by Mr.
Sawicki, it was
RESOLVED, that the application of Patric±a A. Bailey,
Appeal No. 2846 is hereby denied without prejudice and that
same shall be scheduled and re-advertised as required by law
in the local and official newspapers for public hearing to
be held on Thursday, September 17, 1981 at the Southold Town
Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, and that a copy of said
notice of hearing shall be forwarded to the applicant.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, Douglass,
Goehringer and Sawicki. (Member Doyen, Fishers Island, was absent.)
Motion was made by Mr. Goehringer, seconded by Mr. Doug-
lass, and carried, that the Minutes of the May 27, 1981 Meeting
of this board be approved.
The board authorized the Chairman to submit the ZBA
budget recommendations to the Town Board after the August 31,
1981 final revisions by our department.
Being there was no further business to come before the
board at this time, the Chairman declared the meeting closed
at approximately 5:25 p.m.
