All parking must be contained on site. Provided they adhere to all conditions on the application and permit and to the Town of Southold Policy for Special Events. This permit is subject to revocation if the applicant fails to comply with any of the conditions of the approval or is unable to properly control traffic flow into and out of the event. 2025-439 Category: Special Events Department: Town Clerk Annual Boy Scout Car Show RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to Boy Scout Troop 6 to hold its Annual Car Show, setting up Friday, August 29th, 2025 at 5 PM. The event will be held on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 from 7 AM to 5 PM and will be taken down on Sunday, August 31st, 2025 by 5 PM. The event will be held at the Peconic Lane Community Center, Peconic Lane, Peconic,provided they file with the Town Clerk a Two Million Dollar Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Southold as an additional insured and comply with all the provisions of the Town's Special Permit Policy. Applicant to notify Cutchogue Fire Department and Owners of Horses across the street from the country club. All special events are being evaluated by the Town Board at this time. 2025-447 Category: Special Events Department: Town Clerk Mattituck Chamber of Commerce Street Fair 2025 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce to hold its Annual Mattituck Street Fair and to close down Old Sound Avenue between Love Lane and Westphalia, Mattituck on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM provided they comply with all the conditions of the Town's Policy for Special Events on Town Properties. All fees, with the exception of the clean-up deposit, shall be waived. Applicant to meet with Captain Grattan at the Police Department as soon as possible. 2025-448 Category: Employment-Town Department: Accounting Amend Resolution Number 2024-533 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby amends Resolution Number 2024-533 to read as follows: RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby appoints Margaret Brock to the position of a Temporary Part-Time Secretary for the Highway Department, effective June 20, 2024 through May 30, 2025, at a rate of$35.6688 per hour. 2025-449 Category: Employment-FIFD Department: Accounting Approve Resolution Number 2025-047 Page 7 of 19 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby ratifies and approves Resolution Number 2025-047 of the Fishers Island Ferry District adopted June 3, 2025, which reads as follows: WHEREAS, the Fishers Island Ferry District has identified the need for expanded oversight and coordination of terminal operations and; WHEREAS, employee 437626 has demonstrated the skills, experience, and commitment necessary to assume increased responsibilities within the District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that effective June 12, 2025, employee 437626 shall be promoted to an hourly rate of$33.70. 2025-450 Category: Employment-FIFD Department: Accounting Approve Resolution Number 2025-048 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby ratifies and approves Resolution Number 2025-048 of the Fishers Island Ferry District, adopted June 3, 2025, which reads as follows: Whereas the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District would like to recognize the exemplary efforts for work performed during 2024, let it hereby be RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners approves a merit pay increase for employee 446717 to $18.50 effective June 12, 2025. 2025-451 Category: Employment-FIFD Department: Accounting Approve Resolution Number 2025-049 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby ratifies and approves Resolution Number 2025-049 of the Fishers Island Ferry District, adopted June 3, 2025, which reads as follows: WHEREAS the Ferry District requires additional Deckhands (FIFD); Therefore, it is RESOLVED to appoint, with effect June 12, 2025, Andrew Nicholas as a part- time Deckhand(FIFD) at a rate of$17.00 per hour. It is further RESOLVED to temporarily appoint with effect June 13, 2025 Mr. Nicholas from part-time to full-time summer seasonal status. The fireworks display will be at the Greenport Athletic Field, Greenport High School, located at 725 Front Street and east side of Moores Lane, Greenport,New York, subject to the applicant's compliance with any conditions and all requirements of the Town of Southold Policy regarding the issuance of fireworks permits. 2025-455 Category: Special Events Department: Town Clerk New Suffolk Civic Assoc. 4th of July Parade RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to the New Suffolk Civic Association to use the following route for its 4th of July Parade in New Suffolk, on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM;participants will march down New Suffolk Road,New Page 9 of 19 Suffolk Avenue, Main Street, First Street, Jackson Street and onto the Town Beach grassy area, provided they follow all the conditions in the Town's Policy for Special Events on Town Properties. Failure to comply with the conditions of the policy will result in the forfeiture of the cleanup deposit. 2025-456 Category: Employment-Town Department: Accounting Acknowledges the Retirement of Theodore Griffin WHEREAS, the Town of Southold has received electronic notification on June 5,2025 from the NYS Retirement System concerning the retirement of Theodore Griffin effective August 12, 2025. Now therefore be it; RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby acknowledges the retirement of Theodore Griffin from the position of Automotive Mechanic IV for the Department of Public Works, effective August 12, 2025. 2025-457 Category: Agreements-Non Department: Town Attorney Agreement SC Office for the Aging for Home Maintenance/Repair Program RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor Albert J. Krupski, Jr. to execute the Home Maintenance/Repair Program Agreement between the County of Suffolk Office for the Aging and the Town of Southold, for the period January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, with an option, to be exercised at the County's discretion, to June 30, 2026, on the same terms and conditions herein; to provide the elderly in need with the required labor for minor repairs and renovation assistance to remediate or upgrade substandard, unsuitable or unsafe housing, including, but not limited to handicapped accessible and crime prevention modifications, as identified in Contract IFMS No. 00000015541; 001- 6777/JKD1-4980-95285, with service levels as indicated, with a maximum reimbursement to the Contractor from the County not to exceed $29,135.00, at no cost to the Town, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney. 2025-458 Category: Committee Appointment Department: Town Clerk Committee Appointment LPC RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby appoints Carol Festa to the Land Preservation Committee effective immediately to fill the vacant seat, term to expire March 31, 2027. 2025-459 Page 10 of 19 Category: Special Events Department: Government Liaison Special Event 2025-4 Hotel Moraine Addendum RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to Hotel Moraine to hold Special Event 2025 -4 Addendums at 62005 County Road 48, Greenport New York as applied for in Application HM la-g for weddings, 9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, and 10/23/2025 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm provided they adhere to all conditions on the application, and to the Town of Southold Policy for Special Events. The Hotel is to be closed to the general public during weddings. All Events are to be reviewed there after and are not an ongoing approval. 2025-460 Category: Employment-Town Department: Accounting Appoint Part-Time Assistant to Assessor RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby appoints Claire Glew to the position of Part-Time Assistant to Assessor for the Assessors Office, effective July 7, 2025 up to December 31, 2025 at a rate of$50.1959 per hour, no more than 17.5 hours per week. 2025-461 Category: Contracts-Lease & Agreements Donations Department: Recreation Hire Summer 2025 Recreation Program Instructors Resolved that the Town Board of the Town of Southold authorizes and directs Supervisor Albert J. Krupski, Jr. to execute independent contractor agreements with Jonathan K. Page 11 of 19 Farrar to perform Bay Patrolman services in and around the waters of Fishers Island for the period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 at a rate of$3,000.00 per annum,plus approved expenses, and Russell K. Piper to perform Bay Patrolman services in and around the waters of Fishers Island for the period of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 at a rate of$3,000.00 per annum,plus approved expenses, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney, funded from budget line A.3130.4.500.400. 2025-463 Category: North Road Hotel, LLC v. Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Southold Department: Town Attorney Appoint Special Counsel Devitt Spellman Barrett, LLP ZBA RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes the Town Attorney to retain Devitt Spellman Barrett, LLP as Special Counsel to represent the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Southold in an action in Supreme Court, Suffolk County under Index No. 613228/2025, in the matter of North Road Hotel LLC -against—Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Southold, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney, Budget Line B.1420.4.500.200. 2025-464 Category: Agreements-Non Department: Town Attorney Extend Contract with Mattituck Environmental Services RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs Deputy Supervisor John Stype to exercise the one-year option agreement extending the contractual agreement between the Town of Southold and Mattituck Environmental Services, Inc. for the work identified as "Materials, Hauling and Disposal Services",pursuant to the bid dated June 27, 2024, for a period of one additional year to expire on August 19, 2026, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney. 2025-465 Category: Employment-Town Department: Accounting Accepts Resignation of Kevin Browne RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby accepts the resignation of Kevin Browne from the position of Part-Time Minibus Driver for the Human Resource Center effective close of business June 20, 2025. 2025-466 Category: Agreements-Non Department: Town Attorney Amend Resolution Number 2025-401 Page 12 of 19 RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby amends Resolution Number 2025-401 to read as follows: RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor Albert J Krupski, Jr to execute a Consultant Agreement with Margaret Brock, for services to be performed at the office of the Highway Superintendent, for a maximum duration of two months effective June 2, 2025, to expire on July 31, 2025, and not to exceed 17.5 hours weekly, at a rate of$48.50 per hour, to be a legal charge to Highway budget line A.5010.4.500.100, all in accordance with the Town Attorney. 2025-467 Category: Attend Seminar Department: Building 2025 State Code Training RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to Senior Building Inspector John Jarski to attend the NYS Code Enforcement Officers Conference at SUNY Maritime, on July 15, 16 & 17, 2025.
