The area we use is approximately 3.25 acres. BON TON ROULET Location THE FARM RIDE The park abuts Route 25 in Orient, NY THE RIDE TO MONTAUK Permanent Structures We will use the permanent bathroom building, which is approximately 32'x40' and the covered picnic pavilion, which is approximately 58' x 24'. A separate permit from Long Island State Parks is required for these locations. Live Music/Loudspeakers There will be no live music or loudspeakers. Emergency Entrance and Exit All access to the site is via Route 25 and the State Parkway that runs through the park. Trash & Refuse On site dumpsters are used for all trash. It is a leisurely ride. The cyclists are required to follow all NY Motor Vehicle laws. NY law does NOT require adults to wear bicycle helmets, but we do! No helmet/no ride/no exceptions. No cellphones or earphones while riding. We do not close, block, or obstruct any roads. . The size of the ride is capped at no more than 600 cyclists, per Town of Southold policy. We offer four different route lengths. Route maps are attached from 2024 —we anticipate no changes for 2025. We mark the route and then remove ALL marks within 24 hours. We understand that our security deposit is at stake if we fail to do this properly and to your complete satisfaction.
