as grant consultants-to the Town.
8:30 P.M. - Met with William Gfllooly, Community DeveloRmen~t Director
for the Village of Greenporr, ~-~d--~uss possib'le 'gr~nt'~a~'shi~ Work
for the Tox~m of Southbld.
9:05 P.M. - Discussed contract negot'fZt'ions with the' North~ork
Animal Welfare Lc'ague, Inc. for operation of the Dog Po'und and
enforcement of the Agriculture and Markets Law.
9:20 P.M. Discussed the problems which have arisen in connection
with the Clam Transplant Program~.. The contractor for supplying the
clams, Seafare Co. of East Marion, is unable to fulff!l ~h~i~-
consract, however, Supervisor Pe!l has made arrangements to purchase
the clams directly from the supplier and the Program will p~oceed as
planned.
9:25 P.M. - Supervisor Pelt and Councilman Nickles discussed the
proposal of North Fork Bank & Trust' Company to conduct a survey
of all Town departments for the purpose of computerizatiOn. The
cost of the survey would be deducted from the contract if.one is
entered into between the Town and the Bank.
9:30 P.lI. Discussed the possible purchase o'f" proper'ty a'dj'oining
the Landfill Site at Cutchogue.
9:50 P.M. - Neeting adjourned.
