POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Call to Order. Pledge of Allegiance. Approval of the Audit of Bills of July 27, 2004. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 564. Appoint Jeremy Doucette to the position of part-time seasonal movie theatre recreational aide for the Fishers Island Ferry District. 565. Appoint Megan Bence to the position of part-time seasonal clerk for the Fishers Island Ferry District. 566. Appoint James Brown to the position of part-time seasonal deck hand for the Fishers Island Ferry District. 567. Appoint Matt Lynch to the position of part-time seasonal deck hand for the Fishers Island Ferry District. 568. Retain Frank A. Isler, Esq. as special counsel for the proposed acquisition of land adjacent to the Solid Waste Management District transfer station under the New York Eminent Domain Procedure Law. 569. Accept the resignation ofKrystyna Surozenski from her position as Student Intern I in the Town Clerk's Office. 570. Grant permission to Cooley's Anemia Foundation to use town roads on October 2, 2004 for their annual 62-mile Bike-A-Thon. 571 Authorize modification to the 2004 General Whole Town budget to fund Custodial Worker I positions. 572. Authorize modification to the 2004 Solid Waste District budget for various supplies and services. 573. Set 5:00 p.m., August 24, 2004, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing for the purchase of property owned by Drum and Saland, SCTM #1000-87-1-26 at 300 Minnehaha Blvd, Southold. 574. Authorize the Solid Waste Coordinator to develop and distribute a Request for Proposals to implement the required landfill groundwater monitoring program. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2004 budget for transcription of ZBA meeting public testimony. 576. Grant a refund to Harborview Homes, Inc. as the building permit fee was incorrect. 577. Accept the resignation of Michael Domino from his position as a member of the Southold Town Anti-Bias Task Force. 578. Appoint Anthony Trezza to the position of Senior Planner in the Planning Department, effective August 2, 2004. 579. Determine that the purchase of video cameras for installation in town police cars is a Type II Action pursuant to SEQRA and is not subject to further review. 580. Amend resolution #556 adopted at the July 13, 2004 meeting, regarding a contract with Community Energy Inc. and changing the cost of a kilowatt-hour to 1.5 cents. 581 Grant approval to transfer Christopher Talbot, Building Inspector, from the Village of Southampton to the Town of Southold, effective August 2, 2004. 582. Supervisor Horton appoints Building Inspector Christopher Talbot as Assistant Deputy Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Town of Southold. 583. Adopt the finding of L.K. McLean Associates P.C. that the proposed "A Local Law in relation to the Town of Southold Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Consistency Review" is a Type II action pursuant to SEQRA and is not subject to further review. 584. Determine that the Town Board is the Lead Agency for the SEQRA Review of the Unlisted Action for the proposed amendments of the Town Code to revise and update the Town's Highway Specifications and that it will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment. 585. Determine that the proposed "A Local Law in Relation to a One Hundred and Eighty (180) Day Extension of the Temporary Moratorium on the Processing, Review of, and making Decisions on applications for Major Subdivisions, Minor Subdivisions and Special Exception Use Permits and Site Plans containing Dwelling Unit(s) in the Town of Southold" is a Type II Action pursuant to SEQRA and is not subject to further review. 586. Determine that the proposed "A Local Law in relation to Parking at the Road End Area on Duck Pond Road" is classified as a Type II Action pursuant to SEQRA and is not subject to further review. Amend resolution #733 adopted at the November 6, 2003 meeting to extend the leave of absence for Dania Atkinson Public Safety Dispenser. Amend resolution #299 adopted at the April 6, 2004 Town Board meeting, to adjust the amount of debt to be paid by Kent Valadez and Ocean Fisheries for services provided by the Department of Solid Waste. Set 5:00 p.m., August 24, 2004 as the time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law in relation to a new Chapter Al06 - Subdivision of Land of the Code of the Town of Southold". Authorize Supervisor Horton to retain L.K. McLean Associates to perform a topographical survey on the Southold Town Hall site. Appoint Robert Conway to the position of part-time Bay Constable in the Police Department. Enact "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to Chapter Al08 of the Code of the Town of Southold pertaining to Highway Specifications". Enact "A Local Law in Relation to a One Hundred and Eighty (180) Day Extension of the Temporary Moratorium on the Processing, Review of, and making Decisions on applications for Major Subdivisions, Minor Subdivisions and Special Exception Use Permits and Site Plans containing Dwelling Unit(s) in the Town of Southold".
