The Board determined that an Administrative Permit application must be submitted for the proposed work. This determination is not a determination from any other agency. Sorry for any delay, however,as an FYI the Board members do not have office hours so it can take a bit for their determinations. The Board did have a work session last night so I caught the Board and asked them to review your submission. As parts of the project is just within or just outside the,100 foot jurisdictional area,the parking lot area to the west is within jurisdiction, and the digging up of the area to remove the fuel tanks will fall within jurisdiction,the Board determined that an Administrative Permit application needs to be applied for to remove all structures. The Administrative Permit application can be found through the Town's website under the Trustees section of Forms& Links. The application fee is$250 (check made out to Town of Southold). The directions are on the first page of the application. Please do not submit the application packet in back-to-back form, single page only. Currently we are accepting Administrative Permit applications for our June 11th hearing date. With this type of permit there is no public notice and you are not required to attend a public hearing. Please submit your application by May 30th to be slated for the June 11th hearing date. If the application is approved as submitted,the Administrative Permit should be issued within a week or two after the hearing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
