people at ~e S~rling Hater Marina, which ls very near by. Of course
~ere are ~ose ~r~nas ~at increase in size due to alarge ~ats. We

Southold Town Planning Board at a regular meeting held on July 13,
1964:
In the matter of the petition of Paul S. and Lois T. wilson,
for a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District
to "B" Business District on certain real property located at Green-
port, and more particularly bounded and described as follows: Beginning
at the intersection of the southerly line of Manhanset Avenue with
the westerly line of Beach Road, from said point of beginning running
along said westerly line of Beach Road, two courses as follows:-
(1) S. 4° 06' 00" E. 481.84 feet; thence (2) Southeasterly on a curve
to the left having a radius of 436.0 feet a distance of 100.98 feet,

RESOLVED that the Planning Board favorably recommends to the

This property is going to be used for a marina, if the change
of zone is granted. The Planning Board feels that there is a
growing need for this type of business in the Town of Southold.
This land is low and the Board feels that this is an ideal
use for this land, in view of the fact, it is separated from
residential area by streets, a cemetery, and property of the Town
of Southold. The Board feels that this will be an excellent
addition to the economy of the Town.
