Gentlemen:
This is to certify that the following action was taken by
the Southold Town Planning Board at a special meeting held on
February 3, 1965:
In the matter of the petition of William Wickham for a change
of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "C" Industrial
District on certain real property located in Cutcho~ue, in the Town
of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and more particularly bounded
and described as follows: bounded north by Middle Road, east by Moore
south by Long Island Railroad, west by Tuthill, containing approximately
18 acres more or less.
This is parcel II on the original application of Mr. William
Wickham, submitted to the Board in June, 1959. Mr. Wickham has
been more than cooperative in this matter and we feel that the
time has come for this to be given some consideration for change.
It is hereby RESOLVED that the Planning Board favorably recommends
to the Town Board the change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural
District to "C" Industrial District on the property of William Wickham
as described above.

the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, including the
Building Zone Maps heretofore made a part thereof, os follows:
To change the above p~cels, all part of the farm of petitioner,
from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "C" Indmstrial
District.
3. Such request is made ~r the ~[Jowing reasons:
It is believed that for the proper growth of Southold Town,
areas should be set aside for indust~ial expansion and local
employment. This section is well suited fay such purposes for
the facts it is located i~ a section where there are very few
veside~ces, where there Is fmontage on a highway suld the
Long Island Railroad and where there are excellent limited
access features,
