I am seeking this determination under your powers as outlined in the Southold Town Code. The Office of the Building Inspector has indicated that I have two front yards and they are reluctant to issue a permit for the construction of a garage without your determination. I have enclosed a copy of my survey and would like you to note the follow- ing: 1. The original permit issued to construct my home shows the front facade facing North. 2. The permit issued to construct my pooI shows the pool to the South of the house in the "rear yard" as required by code. 3. The Southold Planning Board has given Sketch Plan Approval to a road that will establish the North facade as the front of my house.
