Gentlemen:
This is to certify that the following action was
taken by the Southold Town Planning Board at a meeting
held on February 4, 1964~
In the matter of the petition of Millard A. Northridge
for a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural
District to "B" Business District on certain property
situated at Laure~ New York, and more particularly bounded
and described as follows:
Beginning at a monumented point on the southerly line
of the Main (State) Road, said point being the northeasterly
corner of herein described parcel and the northwesterly
corner of land now or formerly of Kander, said point also
being 196.97 feet westerly along the southerly line of Main
(State) Road from the point of intersection of the westerly
lie of Bray Avenue and the southerly lie of Main (State)
Road; running thence S. 20° 46' 50" E. 178.74 feet along
land now or formerly of Kander to a monument; running thence
S~ 69° 13' 10" W. 50 feet along land now or formerly of
Katherine Tuthill to a monument; running thence N. 20° 46'
50" W. 164.37 feet along land now or formerly of Venteau
Construction Corp. to a monument on the southerly line of
the Main (State) Road; running thence No 53° 10' 50" Eo
52~03 feet to the point or place of beginning. Said

"A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B" Business
District on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the Go I. Tuthill
Subdivision, Section 1, located on the south side Main
(State) Road, Laurel, New York.
On Lot No. 1 there is a billboard and it is understood
the owner originally intended to construct a model house
on this lot. Lot No. 2 is owned by the applicant, Mr.
Northridge, and there is a non-conforming business building
located on the let. On lots 3, 4, and 5 there is presently
located a non-conforming business use by Mr. Kander.
This is rapidly developing as a business area. There
is already a gas station, masonry contractor, public garage,
non-conforming vegetable stand and a horse stable in this
area.
