John forgot to include the existing conditions which he saw and he agreed that the property had been used as a farm labor camp (we removed an old trailer which was also housing laborers until recently-squatters/laborers evicted). Building#1-is a 20 x 30 with full basement cottage that is a fully functioning dwelling(2 bedroom, kitchen bathroom, living area).John called it an apartment but it was always a separate cottage (small house) Farm laborers lived in this building. My client cleaned it up (roof shingles and siding). When the HD approves a new sanitary system then we can apply for a building.permits for ypdate to plumbing&electric) Building#2 was a potato barn (below)that was converted to farm labor housing on upper/main floor...it contains a kitchen (plumbing is in the wall but client cleaned up the fixtures etc(it was gross), existing bathroom with 2 showers and 2 toilets&wash basin (removed because it was also gross) and two separate sleeping quarters(where the farm workers slept-multiple bunks) John and I felt strongly that it was previously a farm labor camp and we wanted to retain the use for the HD...My client wants to provide "work-force housing......the preCO was important for the HD. (our next application was to the HD to replace the existing sanitary system used by the cottage & barn building).
