Located: 1605 North Parish Drive, Southold. SCTM# 1000-71-1-15 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the action is INCONSISTENT with policy 6.3 of the LWRP. • The as-built structure was constructed without a Wetlands Permit. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. To answer your two questions, we are adding 428sq.ft. to the existing second floor. The two cantilevered additions, as better described in the revised project description, are both one-story additions. We will provide you with site plans later today. Thank you again for your assistance with this. The sample description and site plan you provided were very clear and helpful. Regards Christina Spornberger and Joseph Buczek 1605 N Parish Dr, Southold, NY 11971 For a Wetland Permit for the existing two-story dwelling (1,858sq.ft. main floor footprint, 677 sq.ft garage footprint; 3,516 total sq.ft living space) with existing 1,743sq.ft. north/northeast decks, existing 98sq.ft. north/northeast connecting stairwells and existing 518sq.ft. detached northwest deck; construct a 91 sq.ft. second-story south dormer addition onto dwelling; a 337sq.ft. second-story north/northeast dormer addition onto dwelling; a 28sq.ft. first-story west addition (by enclosing an existing exterior porch); two 14.25sq.ft. first-story north/northeast cantilevered additions; repair in its entirety the existing 518sq.ft. detached northwest deck; resurface/repair as needed the existing 1,743sq.ft north/northeast decks and 98sq.ft. north/northeast connecting stairwells; demolish existing 24sq.ft. south stone front porch with steps to ground and construct a 32sq.ft. south covered stone front porch with steps to ground; add 6sq.ft.west stone porch; decommission and remediate existing 1,000 gallon south oil tank; install three south 5" diameter 350 feet deep closed-loop geothermal wells. ---------- Forwarded message---------- From: Cantrell, Elizabeth <elizabethc@town.southold.nv.us> Date:Thursday, March 6, 2025 Subject: Wetland Permit application for 1605 North Parish Drive, Southold To: "jsbuczek@gmail.com" <isbuczek@Rmail.com> Mr. Buczek, i Regarding your Wetland Permit application with this office, at this time the application is incomplete. Thank you for the detailed written project description, however, it does not contain some of the required information. The written project description needs to have the square footage of the footprint of the existing dwelling, front stoop, and any additions or remove replace scenarios (i.e. you gave the dimensions for the deck that is to be resurfaced but the other structures). Regarding the second floor, are you adding 700sq.ft. to the existing second floor? The two cantilevered additions, are they a two story or one story additions?Your description speaks of resurfacing a deck, however, there is no deck depicted on the construction plans which is required. The construction plans should have elevations of the existing dwelling along with the proposed. The Board requires all decking and stars to have dimensions depicted on the construction plans as well as in the written project description. Basically all structures (footprint) of existing or proposed where work is proposed need to depict in both the construction/site plan and the written project description the size of existing/proposed/expansion. Keep in mind, please do not worry about these requirements for interior work. This office does not require permits for interior modifications (i.e. relocating rooms). To assist in what I mean, attached is a basic example of a correct site plan and below is a basic example of a written project description. For a Wetland Permit for the existing one-story dwelling (2,645sq.ft. footprint) with existing 146sq.ft. west deck, existing 593sq.ft. north deck, and existing 37sq.ft. south deck; construct a 99sq.ft. one- story east addition and a 14sq.ft. one-story south addition onto dwelling; construct a 235sq.ft. north deck extension with steps to ground (828sq.ft. deck combined); construct a 186sq.ft. southeast roofed over front porch extension with steps to ground.
