POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
487. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to re-advertise three outboard motors as surplus
equipment, as no bids were received.
488. Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Whole Town budget for equipment
maintenance and repair, Police Department.
489. Accept the resignation of Ralph Gaudiuso from his position as Public Safety Dispatcher.
490. Appoint Christa Grant to the position of part-time Student Intern I in the Supervisor's
Office.
491 Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Whole Town budget to appropriate funds
from Gifts & Donations to Program Supplies/Materials, Programs for the Aging.
492. Authorize modification to the 2004 Scavenger Waste Treatment Budget for tank cleaning.
493. Authorize modification to the 2004 General Fund Whole Town budget to appropriate funds
from Gifts & Donations to cover an over-expended line "With You, Southold Can".
494. Accept the letter of intent to retire of Carol Betty from her position of Adult Day Care
Supervisor at the Human Resource Center.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a modification to the monitor provisions
contained at attachment 1, paragraphs I.B-I.B. ~ of Stipulation of Settlement #91-19050
and 91-19273 issued by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.

Accept the letter of credit and administration fee for the proposed Major Subdivision of
Cove Beach Estates, SCTM #1000-22-3-9.1, 18.1, 18.7 & 18.8.
Approve the amount of the performance bond together with an administration fee for the
proposed Major Subdivision of Zoumas Contracting Corporation, SCTM # 1000-79-4-
17.17.
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for a mini-bus driver for the Senior
Nutrition Program at the Human Resource Center.
Grant permission to the North Fork Country Club to close Moore's Lane, Cutchogue, to all
but residents on July 16-July 17, 2004 for their Member Guest Golf Tournament.
Determine that the purchase of a development rights easement on property owned by Dorset
Farms, Inc., SCTM #1000-100-4-8, is classified as an Unlisted Action and would have no
significant impact on the environment, pursuant to SEQRA.
Authorize modification to the 2004 Solid Waste District budget for miscellaneous expenses.
Authorize modification to the 2004 Highway Fund Part Town budget to appropriate grant
money for the Multi-Modal Program.
Appoint Amanda M. Nunemaker to the position of seasonal Student Intern ! in the
Assessors Office.
Release William Zuhoski from his position as Stillwater Lifeguard for the 2004 summer
season.
Approve the trailer permit application of Robert and Susan Toman.
Set 5:00 p.m., July 27, 2004, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing
on "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to Chapter Al08 of the Code of the Town of
Southold pertaining to Highway Specifications".
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to re-advertise for bids for the acquisition of a waste-
haul trailer for the Solid Waste Management District.
Acknowledge the retirement of John Boufis from his position as Building Inspector.

509. Accept the resignation of Annette Jordan from her position of Account Clerk in the
Accounting Office.
510. Appoint Conor Coridan as Stillwater Lifeguard for the period of July 7-September 6, 2004.

Determine that the amended proposed Local Law entitled "A Local Law in relation to
Amendments to the Affordable Housing District (AHD) in the Code of the Town of
Southold" is classified as a Type I! Action and is not subject to review under SEQRA.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to hire the firm of L.K. McLean Associates, P.C. to
conduct a SEQRA review of the proposed "A Local law in relation to the Town of Southold
Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Consistency Review".

Set 5:15 p.m., July 27, 2004, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing
on "A Local Law in relation to the Town of Southold Local Waterfront Revitalization
Program Consistency Review".

Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit the proposed "A Local Law in relation to
the Town of Southold Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Consistency Review" to the
Southold Town Planning Board and the Suffolk County Planning Department for their
recommendations and reports.

Determine that the Southold Town Board is Lead Agency for the SEQRA Review of the
amendments to Chapter A106 of the Town Code "Subdivision of Land" and that the
proposed Unlisted Action will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment.
516. Appoint individuals to participate as hamlet community stakeholders in the Hamlet
Revitalization Study being undertaken by Cleary Consulting.

on "A Local Law in Relation to a One Hundred and Eighty (180) Day Extension of the
Temporary Moratorium on the Processing, Review of, and making Decisions on

and Site Plans containing Dwelling Unit(s) in the Town of Southold".
