Re: Local Waterfront Revitalization Coastal Consistency Review for I'Conimuni-q Housing
Fund Allocation for Love Lane Apartments".
The proposed "A Local Law in relation to an Amendment to Chapter 280, Zoning, Lot
Recognition"has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of
Southold Town Code. Based upon the information provided to this department, it is my
recommendation that the proposed action is EXEMPT from LWRP review pursuant to § 268-3
Definitions item(M) of the Southold Town Code:
M. Conducting concurrent environmental, engineering, economic,feasibility and other
studies and preliminary planning and budgetary processes necessary to the formulation
of a proposal for action,provided those activities do not commit the agency to
commence, engage in or approve such action;
Pursuant to Chapter 268,the Town Board shall consider this recommendation in preparing its
written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
