Main Rd. &Youngs Ave.) Telephone: 631 765-1938 Southold NY 11971 LOCAL WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION PROGRAM TOWN OF SOUTHOLD MEMORANDUM To: Town of Southold Town Board Denis Noncarrow, Town Clerk From: Mark Terry,AICP Assistant Town Planning Director Date: March 28, 2025 Re: New York State Environmental Quality Review for"A Local Law in relation to an Amendment to Chapter 280, Zoning Accessory Apartments" The Local Law in relation to an Amendment to Chapter 280, Zoning Accessory Apartments action has been reviewed to New York State Department of Environmental Conservation regulation 6NYCCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review, and it is my determination that pursuant to Part 617.5 (c)(11) and(33),the action, as proposed, is a Type II action and therefore not subject to SEQRA review. 617.5(c)(11) "construction or expansion of a single family, a two-family or a three-family residence on an approved lot including provision of necessary utility connections as provided in 617.5(c)(13) and the installation, maintenance and/or upgrade of a drinking water well or a septic system, or both, and conveyances of land in connection therewith;" 617.5(c)(33) "adoption of regulations,policies,procedures and local legislative decisions in connection with any action on this list,-" Please contact me at(631) 765-1938 if you have any questions regarding the above recommendation.
