I am struggling with this application because it does not show proper egress from the attic floor, nor is there a fire alarm or sprinkler system required in a third story. Also,the reconstruction of the from porch exceeds the allowable 30 sq ft. dimension to be exempt from the required front yard setback. Can you reduce the porches size or file for the front porch later as an amendment this way the permit will not be held up for the variance process.Another possible answer is if it complies with the average front yard setback of the parcels within 300 feet both ways of the property line.To accomplish that you would have to submit each survey showing the current front yard setback. If you have questions, I would suggest you call Mike since he is more familiar with the property and not just seeing on paper.
