The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove the honey locust tree located on your property and are within 100' of the wetlands. These trees were reviewed and seen by Trustee Nicholas Krupski on March 16, 2025. The Board of Trustees determined that the honey locust tree may be removed at this time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. Over the years,the tree has been gradually deteriorating. We regularly have small to medium limbs breaking off and needed to have Shamrock Tree Company remove a large limb a couple of years ago. There is evidence of decay at the base of the tree. While it's hard to see in the last picture,Kevin Salustro of Shamrock,also highlighted for us where the top of the tree is dead.
