Located: 295 Bayview Avenue, Southold. SCTM# 1000-52-5-26 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the action is CONSISTENT with LWRP Policies and, therefore, CONSISTENT with the LWRP. 1. Require that the Spartina Sp. be left undisturbed or restored following construction. 2. It is recommended that a vegetated buffer be required landward of the wetland to further policy 6. Your written description calls for 32ft.of bulkhead and 30' of rip-rap revetment. On the plans, the bulkhead/rip rap connection detail states"provide 45' bulkhead section." This does not add up. Also, I need to know the length of the proposed angled bulkhead return. This return needs to have its length depicted on the plans. The plans should also show the section of bulkhead to be removed as well as the southern return. Will the southern return be replaced with new, also raised? That too then needs to be depicted on the plan with its length/height. The proposal to raise the bulkheading 12" above existing top cap is not described on the plans. At this time, this application has to be postponed from the February meeting agenda.
