We were informed as part of our rental application that no permit is on record for said installation. I have addressed each issue raised below. I am most concerned about the bathroom because I do not believe there was ever a bathroom installed in the location indicated on the plans submitted..Our water tank is adjacent to that location,we get our water from a well, and perhaps a bathroom at that location was not wise. In any case, I believe it is possible the plans were changed in real time based on these facts. I have addressed each issue raised in your email below. / sps vex P Bathroom: '_ �n ��L � We have no evidence that a bathroom was ever installed in the location indicated on the plans. The house's water tank is adjacent to the proposed bathroom location on the plans which would,explain why the plan for the bathroom's location changed.The current location is underneath our bedroom bathroom,which also makes more sense.This is true of the walls,as well. It seems hard to believe that someone would go through the trouble of installing a bathroom and then dismantling the bathroom, plumbing and all,to move it in another location in the same room. I think the likely explanation is that the plan was changed in real time- likely based on the suitability of existing plumbing and proximity to a watertank.A notation in the field inspection report stated 8/1/90 says that the inspector"spoke with the plumber and builder about a few problems"which could be an reference to the bathroom placement. Is it possible that the file does not contain all of the submissions or that updated resubmitted plans or amended plans were misfiled or lost? V e rii /4G_Zen, re ators The generator was removed from the property and no longer exist.We have a certificate of removal from the electrician. Val in /screened porch: The porch is an actual screened porch consistent with the permit. Again, I firmly believe that the bathroom was not ever installed at the location on the plan but was changed to a more suitable location prior to the the issuance of the occupancy permit. I meant the-bed-mattress was removed which John saw last Friday, May 31 st. Th bed_ frame is still there- a were waiting for someone to pick it up but they never showed up. On May 31 st, he said to only send a picture of the railing which I did and finalize the electrical which I did (Shawn sent the final-yesterday). On May 31st, it was determined that the bathroom was in fact the subject of the permit that was authorized in 1990, and thus it is not "as built" and the accurate floor plan is now in the file. The so er issue was rai-ge—&-a—k when John was under the misimpression that the bathroom was constructed without a permit, which issue was resolved last Friday. Th(bathroom is an was fully permit qe n 1990 and is not new. The only new aspect of the basement was the lighting which is now covered_Gy tthe final inspection issued yesterday by Shawn. This is now a new element that was resolved on Friday when the basement was inspected by John and Shawn. Further John saw that the Ned was removed. If we cannot have furniture in our basement ,pleas refer me to the code that says so. The bathroom is not"as built". A new drawing was were not requires at the time for whatever reason or was submitted and lost by your department. Similar to my pool permit. I will pick my permit up on Thursday.
