THIS I.AIDEN_TURE, made the 5 day of April,
nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, between ARTHUR LE11'IS
MO�,rORE, ELIAS HIM fiEaAjM and JTOHN ALDEN COOK, as Trustees
under the last Will and Testament of 'William H. H, Moore,
deceased$ parties of the first part, and THE VILLAGE OF
2gg PORT, an incorporated village in the County of Suffolk,
State of New York, party of the second part;

consideration of the sum of TWENTY THOUSAND ($20p000.00)
DOLLARS, lawful money of the United States, paid by the partir
of the second part, do hereby grant and release unto the
party of the second part, its successors and assigns, forever:
ALT that certain tracts piece or parcel of land,
situate.9 lying and being near the Village of Greenport, Town
of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, bound-
ed and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of the premises
hereby conveyed formed by the intersection of the Northerly
side of the South Road (also known as the Main Road between
Greenport and Southold) as originally laid out, and the Wiest
erly side of Moore' s Lane; and running thence along said
Northerly side of the South Road as originally laid out Sout
eighty--nine (89) degrees thirty-eight (38) minutes West two
hundred twenty-six and 61/100 (226,61) feet; and thence still
along said road as originally laid out South sixty-four (64)

feet to land now or formerly of the Estate of Brown; thence
along said last mentioned land South eighty-eight (88) de-

erly line of said South Road as originally laid out; thence
along the Northerly line of said South Road as originally

formerly of Alex Rutkoski; thence along said land now or
formerly of Alex Rutkoski and along the land now or formerly
of Fy Kolokoski and along land now or formerly of T. Frank

thousand four hundred four and 1/10 (10 404.1) feet to land
now or formerly of Helen M. Bartlett; thence along said last

feet to land formerly of Effie E. Thompson and now of the

the southwesterly corner of said land formerly of Effie E.
Thompson and now of the party of the second part; thence still
along said land formerly of Effie E. Thompson and now of the
party of the second part in a generally southwesterly direc-
tion to a point on the Westerly line of said Mooref s Lane,
said point being distant in a direct line from the point at
the southwesterly corner of said land formerly of Effie E.
Thompson and now of the party of the second part seven hun-
dred forty-nine and 83/100 (749.83) L'eet on a course running
from said last mentioned point South seventy-five (75) de-
grees forty-seven (47) minutes fifty (50) seconds Ez.st; thence

along said Westerly line of Moore' s Lane South four (4)
degrees two (2) minutes forty (40) seconds East six hundred
sixty-three an a 91/100 (6 ,3.91) feet; and thence still
along the Westerly line of said Moores s Lane South two (2)
degrees forty-three (43) minutes West one thousand seven
hundred two and 8/10 (1,702.8) feet to the Northerly line
of South Road as originally laid out, at the point or place
of beginning, be said several dimensions more or less.
Containing one hundred one and 556/1000 (101.556) acres, be
the same more or' less, as shown on survey made by Halsey
and Van Tuyl, Civil Engineers, dated July 28, 1920,
TOGETHER E_R with all right, title and interest of the
parties of the first part in and to any land lying in the
bed of any street, highway, road or avenue, open or proposed,
in front of or adjoining said premises, to the centre line
thereof.
TOGETHER with an easement for street purposes over
so much of the land of the parties of the first part as is
included in the following descriptions
hEGIaIQQ at a point on the Easterly side of Moores
Lane where the Southwesterly corner of land belonging to
the parties of the first part adjoins the Northwesterly cor-
ner of land belonging to the party of the second part; run-
ning thence Northerly along the Easterly si-ie of said Moores
Lane sixty (60) feet; thence Easterly on a line at right
angles to said Moorets Lane to a point in the Northerly line
of North Street extended and in or near the Westerly boundar
of the Village of Greenport; thence from said point in a
straight line to a point where the Northerly line of North
Street as now laid out meets the Easterly line of the land
of the parties of the first part; thence Southerly along

said Easterly line of the land of the parties of the first
part sixty (60) feet more or less to the Southerly line of
North Street as now laid out; thence Westerly in the ex-
tension of said Southerly line of Forth Street to a point
in or near the Westerly boundary of the Village of Greenpor
sixty (60) feet south of the point in or near said Village
boundary first above referred to; and thence ''Oesterly on a
line at right angles to Moore' s Lane to the Easterly side
of said lane at the point or place of beginning. Being an
extension of North Street as now laid out and being sixty
(60) feet in width, nri th the Northerly and Southerly lines
parallel to each other as shown on a diagram to be annexed
to the deed. Expressly excluding so much of the land now
or formerly of the Price Estate and of the School Dis"rict
Number 10 of the Town of Southold as is included in the
above description.
TOGETHER with the appurtenances, and also all the es-
tate which the said testator had at the time of his decease
in said premises, and also the estate therein, which the
parties of the first part have or have power to convey or
dispose of, whether individually, or by virtue of said will
or otherwise.
TO_gAVE AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted unto
the party of the second part, its successors and assigns
forever.
SUBJECT to a lease expiring April 6, 1938, of a part
of said premises to The Mechanicst Baseball Team of the
Village of Greenport.
The grantors, in compliance fvith Section 13 of the
Lien Law, covenant that the grantors will receive the con-
