On another note, attached is a small plan of a proposed BBQ that I discussed with Mr. Domino and Mr. Bredemeyer at 675 Hill rd. I spoke to Damion at the Building Department before our Trustees meeting. He mentioned a building permit wasn't necessary. But I should show it to the trustees. BBQ detailed as follows: It is composed of a stone countertop with a BBQ insert. There is a counter right and left of the BBQ aprox 36 inches high. A 16 inch high bench seat bench seat aprox 6 - 8 ft long extends to 2 steps down to the grass. There is aprox. 150 sf of pavers between the house and BBQ counter. The materials will follow suit to what is on the existing pool. They mentioned an administrative review would be possible. Let me know if they will require any additional information on this matter. I have identified the following issues concerning the homeowners. Tree number one, located to the right of the house in the back yard, is a safety hazard for two reasons. First, it is growing low to the ground and its limbs protrude horizontally over the fence toward the creek, therefore creates an easy access for young children to circumvent the intention of the fence. Secondly, the tree is inundated with termites and there are numerous areas of rot/decay caused by the insects most notably the trunk. Tree number two, located in the back yard next to the left corner of the house, shows signs of internal decay as well. The remaining of the trees are too crowded and would benefit from a thinning out to allow the few reaming trees to flourish and expand their root structure for a much healthier and longer existence.
