1. Minutes
2. New Suffolk parking issue follow up -The Chief said it is illegal to be parking too close to the intersection and
he will instruct his officers to ticket, especially on Wednesday nights and busy weekends. We will see if things
have improved at the June meeting.
3. Methods for capturing illegally loud vehicles follow up: The Chief will provide the numbers of excessive
vehicle noise and modified mufflers tickets given at our June meeting. Members were interested in hearing
from other towns that implemented the noise camera. Margaret will reach out to NYSDOT. Paul offered to
raise funds for it. To be continued in June.
4. Seaview Trails field work follow up: We will continue this once we have the Southold details. It was agreed
that the old fading signs would remain but new ones would not go up. The goal is to get the suggested
recreational loops up on the website for people to download and enjoy cycling in Southold. Eric—Mattituck
Cutchogue 14 mile loop. Done. Charlie Peck—Soundview/Main Bayview 14 mile loop TBD and Margaret—
Orient 5 mile one. Done. And bike rack locations can be added.

8. Mattituck and NYSDOT meeting—still interested in having NYSDOT send someone out to understand the
Love Lane/#25 intersection problems.
