THE CHAIRMAN: Is there anyone present who wishes to speak
for this application?
MR. ROBERT KETCHAM, JR., Bay Lake Park, East Marion, New York:
I do.
THE CHAIRMAN: What wording have you decided on for the sign?
MR. KETCHAM: I explained to Mr. Cornibertthat the Board did
not permit private beach nor golf on the sign. I believe he is
satisfied with the wording applied for; that is~ "In East Marion,
Crescent Beach Colony, Motel, Efficiency Apartments,"
THE CHAIPAV~AN: The words "EfficiencyApartments" will not be
permitted. That would be in the form of advertising. Most other
motels in the area have efficiency apartments and they are not
permitted to indicate that on their signs.
Also, the new size of directional signs is 24 sq. f%. However,
when you applied for this szgn we stated you would be permitted
