I have an affidavit from the Long Island Traveler-Watchman that it was published, according to law, on the 20th of October, 1983, signed by Patricia Wood. Terry that it was published on the 10th day of October, 1983 on her public notice Bulletin Board. I have Negative Declaration from the Town Board as Lead Agency. The project has been determined not to have a significant effect on the environment for the following reasons: An environmental assessment has been submitted which indicated that no significant adverse effect on the environment are likely to occur should the project be implemented as planned because there has been no response in the allotted time from the New York State Department of Environ- ment Conservation it is assumed that there is no objection nor comments by that agency. I have a letter to the Town Clerk from Henry Raynor, Chairman, Southold Town Planning Board regarding this application: "Dear Mrs. Terry: The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning Board, Monday, September 12, 1983: Resolved that the Southold Town Planning Board recommends approval regarding the change of zone application of Alfred E. and Claire Bouffard from "B" Light Business District to "C" Light Industrial District on certain property at Mattituck." I have a letter from Dr. Lee E. A decision of local determination should not be construed as either an approval or disapproval." I believe that concludes the reading of the public notice. SUPERVISOR PELL: Thank you. You've heard the reading of this public notice for a change of zone from "B" Light Business to "C" Light Industrial on this piece of land. Does anybody wish to comment on it? (No response.) By ident:fying an ~f~ect in column 2 simply asks that it be looked at further. - The Examoles provided are to assist the reviewer by showing types of effects and wherever possible the snreshnl~ of magnitude that would trigger a response in column 2_ The examples are genarallv applicable t~roug~out tme Stat~ arid for £9ost situations. But, for any specific project or site other examples and/or lower thresholds may be more appropriate for a Potential Large Impact rating. - Each project, on each site, in each locality, will vary. Therefore, the examples have been offered as gui dance. They do not constitute an exhaustive list of impacts and thresholds to answer each nuestion. - The muter of examples per question does not indicate the importance of each question.
