Gillispie, Jr., Chakman Robert Bergen Herbert Rosenberg Charles Gregon[s, Jr. Serge Doyen, Jr. MINUT'E S SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD OF APPEALS September 25, 1961 A meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals was held at the call of the Chairman at 11:45 A.M., Monday, September 25, 1961, at the Town Clerk Office, Main Road, Southold, New York. There were present: Messrs. Robert Bergen, Herbert Rosenberg, and Charles Grigonis, J~. Absent: Messrs. Robert~W. Gillispie, Jr., and Serge Doyen, Jr. On motion of Mr. Bergen, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was RESOLVED that~e Board of Appeals set 7:30 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, October 5, 196I, Town Clerk Office, Main Road, Southold, New York as time and p~ace for hearing upon application of Harold I. Green, Stillwater Avenue, Cutchogue, New York, for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 300, Subsectign 7, for permission to reduce setback for private detached garage. Location of property: east side'Stillwater Avenue, Cutchogue~ New York, Lot No. 11 on Map of M. S. Hand. Southold Town Board of~Appeals -2- september 25, 1961 Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and Mr. Gr igonis. On motion of Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Bergen, it was RESOLVED that the Board of Appeals set 7:45 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, October 5, 1961, Town Clerk Office, Main Road, Southold, New York, as time and place for hearing upon application of Frank E. Horn, Island view Lane, Arshamomaque, New York, for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 303 for permission to reduce area of lot located on the east side of private road off Island View Lane, Arshamomaque, New York. Property bounded north by Martocci, east by Peconic Bay, south by other land of F. E. Horn, and west by private right-of-way. vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen~ Mr. Rosenberg, and Mr. Grigonis. On motion of Mr. Bergen, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was RESOLVED that the Boat~ of Appeals set 8:15 P.M. (E.D.S.T.), Thursday, October 5, 1961, Town Clerk Office, Main Road~ Southold, New York, as time and place for hearing upon application of George Biehl, 2 Leslie Lane, New Hyde Park~ New York, for a variance in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 307, for permission to reduce side yard setback. Location of property: west side Oakwood Drive, Southold, New York, bounded north by E. Thomson~ south by A. Cornell, east by Oakwood Drive, and west by R. V. Jacobs. vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and Mr. Grigonis. It was further RESOLVED that legal notice of the hearing be published in the official news paper on September 29, 1961. vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and Mr. Grigonis. Mr. P. B. Diefenbacher, south side Bayview Road, Coke Open Development Area, Coke Drive, informally spoke to the Board of Appeals relative to the possibility of locating a detached garage with a reduced setback. The Board found this request to be un- satisfactory. Mr. Diefenbacher stated hewould look into the possibility of attaching the garage to his house.
