"Legal Notice, Notice of Hearing on Proposal to Amend Zoning
Ordinance. Pursuant to Section 265 of the Town Law and Article IX
of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk
County, New York, public hearings will be held by the Southold Town
Board at the office of the Supervisor, 16 South Street, Greenport,
New York, in said town on the 10th day of October, 1961, at 7:30
o'clock in the evening of said day, on the following proposals to
amend the Building Zone Ordinance (including the Building Zone Maps)

the property in question. Mr. Meyer intends to use this propoerty
for the purpose of manufacturing electronic instruments. This change
would be in keeping with the area and be beneficial to that section.
Directly across the street is the Kaelin farm machinery plant which
is zoned "B" and across Kenne~/s Road is the Conway garage which is also
zoned "B" Business. We respectfully solicit your favorable action
on this application to change the zone. I would like to say that
the Donahue Brothers and Mr. Meyer are here tonight ~n case anyone
has any questions relative to the proposed use of the property.
