The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove the three (3) large oak trees that are located on your property and are within 100' of the wetlands. These trees were reviewed and seen by Trustee Glenn Goldsmith on January 16, 2025. The Board of Trustees determined that the three (3) large oak trees trees that are located on your property may be removed at this time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. We have three very large oak trees that are in very close proximity to our house.We recently asked an arborist about pruning them,and they recommended not doing any further pruning as the trees are showing signs of stress, but rather removing the trees.Two of them are,behind the house within 6 feet of our deck and one is on the south side of the house within 10 feet of the house.
