Jeffrey Patanjo on behalf of NAN MOLOFSKY & ARTHUR SKELSKIE requests a Wetland
Permit to construct a partially raised 16'x28' swimming pool with associated brick pool patio
surround with varied dimensions of approx. 4' surrounding the north and east sides of pool
along with a 14'x17' area extending on the east side with steps to the existing patio and
deck; install pool equipment and backwash drywell; install pool enclosure fencing with
gates where needed; existing trees to be protected; and a temporary 4'x6' storage shed.

The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of
the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP)
Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency
Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is
my recommendation that the action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in
preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.

assessment is intended to supplement other information used by a Town of Southold agency in
making a determination of consistency. *Except minor exempt actions including Building Permits
and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION—REVISED 7-30-24
Project includes the installation of a proposed 16' wide x 28' long in-ground swimming
pool along with proposed pool equipment and backwash drywell as shown on proposed
plan. An associated brick patio will be installed surrounding the pool with varied
dimensions approximately 4' surrounding the north, and east sides of pool and 14' x 17'
area extending on the east side; steps to the existing patio and deck will be constructed
and existing trees will be protected. A proposed 4'x6' temporary storage shed will be
installed to store pool toys and chairs. A pool compliant fence will be installed on the
north and east sides of the pool and the west and south sides will utilize the pool wall as
a barrier, All work will be a minimum of 75' from the tidal wetland boundary and
protected from runoff at all times.
