REPORTS
Carol Brown attended the Board of Trustees meeting on October 16, 2024 and reported
the meeting was business as usual. The application made on behalf of an applicant in
Peconic, who applied to construct stairs on the bluff, was denied due to the history of
erosion in the area.
UPDATES/OLD BUSINESS/NEW BUSINESS
Carol Brown asked the group to review the draft homeowner's guide and the draft mission
statement for a final discussion in December.
CLIMATE SMART COMMUNITIES
Inga Van Eysden reviewed the pledges and noted that a lot of the pledges require Town
Board approval. The CAC will have to figure out what they can do now, without too much
difficulty. Maggie Merrill has a spreadsheet of projects that qualify for points. Carol Brown
mentioned that Elizabeth Hornstein and Andrew Manitt would be willing to come to a
future meeting, however it was then decided that Inga and Carol would meet with them via
Zoom in,advance of the next monthly meeting.

October 15, 2024.
