Leary Situate: 780 East Road, Cutchogue SCTM No. 1000-110.4-21 Dear Mr. Goldsmith: Please view this letter as a formal request for a pre-inspection meeting at the above referenced property with the Board. The property is for sale and I am representing the potential purchaser who is looking to do some construction work to the residence and detached garage upon completion of the purchase. The proposed project will consist of the following: remodeling the residence, raising the existing floor of the seaward sunroom to make it level with the residence first floor,raise the ceiling height of the sunroom, construct partial habitable space and seaward second floor deck above the sunroom(where no second floor exists), elevate the seaward deck/patio areas to the first floor elevation, construct a covered roof over the raised and new seaward deck. The detached garage will be improved and converted into an accessory apartment. The proposed work to the residence is anticipated on being a renovation and not classified as a demo/ reconstruction. I am including an aerial which shows the conceptual pier line for the property. The proposed second floor deck will be the seaward portion of the project and a small portion will occur seaward of the pier line(but no expansion of habitable space seaward of the pier line). In support of this request,please find the inspection fee in the amount of$150.00 paid by Twin Forks Permits. The current owner will be or has submitted a letter of permission allowing the Trustees access to the site for inspection purposes. If you would please place this application on the schedule for the October 9, 2024 inspection and let me know the window of inspection time so that I may meet you at the property. Thank you.
