THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19,2024.
A special meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold
Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Rd at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday,
September 19, 2024 commencing at 4:30 P. M.
The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However,this meeting
was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received.
Present were:

4:32 P. M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson),Planamento,Acampora,Dantes, and Lehnert. This
resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
4:32 P. M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to enter into Executive
Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson),
Planamento,Acampora Dantes and Lehnert. This resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
5:12 P. M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, and seconded by Member Acampora to exit Executive
Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Acampora Planamento and
Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).

WORK SESSION: Began at 5:12 P.M.
A. Requests from the Board Members for future agenda items.
B. The Board discussed requests for Extensions and De Minimus approvals.
C. The Board discussed required training for 2024. The Town Attorney's office has the ability to conduct
Case Law training sessions.
POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE/ADJOURN THE FOLLOWING HEARINGS:
THOMAS BRADFORD#7944-Request for Variances from Article XXIII, Section 280-124;Article XXXVI,
Section 280-207;Article XXXVI, Section 280-208; and the Building Inspector's May 23,2024,Notice of
Disapproval based on an application for a permit to demolish an existing single family dwelling and construct a new
two story single family dwelling; 1)located less than the code required minimum front yard setback 35 feet;2)
located less than the code required minimum side yard setback of 10 feet; 3)more than the code permitted maximum
lot coverage of 20%; 4)gross floor area exceeding permitted maximum square footage for lot containing up to
10,000 square feet in area; 5)the construction exceeds the permitted sky plane as defined in Article I, Section 280-4
of the Town Code; located at: 3755 Bay Shore Road,Greenport,NY. SCTM No. 1000-53-6-17. RESOLUTION:
A motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to CLOSE HEARING and
RESERVE DECISION. Vote of the Board:Ayes:All.This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0)

2024 which will commence at 9:00 A.M. for Executive Session and Regular Meeting to begin at 10:00
A.M. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson) Planamento Acampora Dantes and
Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).
b) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member
Acampora to approve minutes from the Regular Meeting held on September 5,2024. Vote of the Board:
Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Planamento,Acampora Dantes and Lehnert. This Resolution
was duly adopted(5-0)
c) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: A Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member
Planamento, to GRANT an extension to#7399 North Fork One, LLC, located at 290 Windward Road,
Orient,NY. SCTM No. 1000-19-12.3. Extension to expire on September 17,2025. Vote of the Board:
Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson),Planamento,Acampora Dantes and Lehnert. Resolution was
duly adopted (5-0).

d) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: A Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member
Acampora, to GRANT a six(6)month extension to#7187 Brian and Elizabeth Wilhelm, located at 220
Upper Shingle Hill Road, Fishers Island,NY. SCTM No. 1000-9-1-4. Extension to expire on February
16, 2025. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Planamento,Acampora,Dantes,
and Lehnert. Resolution was duly adopted(5-0 .
There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time,the Chairperson declared the
meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 5:50 P. M.
