POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

New York State Department of Transportation Notice of Designation of Restricted
Highway, Route 25 from Tanger Mall in Riverhead to Village Lane in Orient, during
reconstruction. May affect speed limits; weights and dimensions of vehicles; use by
pedestrians, equestrians and animals; parking, standing, stopping and backing up of vehicle;
control of persons and equipment engaged in work. Expires April 30, 2004.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note; At the start of'the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
526. Authorize the disposal of' obsolete computer equipment.
527. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for bids for the supply of` sports
equipment for the Strawberry Fields Fairgrounds.
528. Accept the resignation of'Devin Bridgen as Student Intern I with the Town Clerk's Office.

Aging, Kitchen Equipment.

532. Grant permission to Walter Teresko to locate one security trailer on his property for a six-
month period.

truck.

Set 8:10 p.m., September 9, 2003, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law to Amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Southold by Changing
the Zoning District Designation of SCTM # 1000-140-2-16 from Light Industrial (LI) and
Residential Office (RO) to Hamlet Business (HB)".
544. Approve the amount of the performance bond to be required for the minor subdivision of
Robert Schreiber, SCTM #1000-95-1-4.
545. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a lease with T-mobile.
546. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a Letter of Agreement with the Keyspan
Foundation for their donation of Personal Computer Equipment.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to hire the firm of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to
conduct a SEQRA evaluation re the issues pertinent to the Change of Zone application of
William F. Gasser and The American Armored Foundation, Inc., per their August 26, 2003
proposal.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to hire the firm of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to
conduct a SEQRA evaluation re the issues pertinent to the Change of Zone application of
Reynold and Herman Blum, per their August 26, 2003 proposal.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to hire the firm of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. to
conduct a SEQRA review and prepare all appropriate resolutions for "A Local Law to
Change the Zoning District Designation of Certain Parcels of Property Known as SCTM
#1000-96-1-3; 1000-96-1-4.1; 1000-96-1-5.1; 1000-96-1-6; 1000-96-1-7; 1000-96-1-8;
1000-96-1-9; 1000-96-1-11.1; 1000-96-1-12; 1000-96-1-13.1; 1000-96-1-14; 1000-96-1-
15; 1000-96-1-16; 1000-96-1-18.2 and 1000-96-1-18.3 from the (LI) Light Industrial

hearing on "A Local Law to Change the Zoning District Designation of Certain Parcels of
Property Known as SCTM #1000-96-1-3; 1000-96-1-4.1; 1000-96-1-5.1; 1000-96-1-6;
1000-96-1-7; 1000-96-1-8; 1000-96-1-9; 1000-96-1-11.1; 1000-96-1-12; 1000-96-1-13.1;
1000-96-1-14; 1000-96-1-15; 1000-96-1-16; 1000-96-1-18.2 and 1000-96-1-18.3 from the
(LI) Light Industrial Zoning District Designation to the (R-40) Residential Zoning District
Designation" and authorize and direct the Town Clerk to forward the proposal to the
Suffolk County Planning Department and Southold Town Planning Board for their review
and recommendations.

Authorize the issuance of $4,000,000 Bonds for the Town of Southold to Finance the
Acquisition of Interests or Rights in Real Property in the Town for the Preservation of Open
Spaces, at the Estimated Maximum Cost of $4,000,000; and determine that this Bond
Resolution Shall be Subject to A Mandatory Referendum.
560. Grant the waiver of Joseph A. Cherepowich from the provisions of Local Law 3-2002
"Temporary Moratorium on the Processing, Review of, and Making Decisions on
applications for Major subdivisions, Minor Subdivisions and Special Exception Use Permits
and Site Plans containing Dwelling Unit(s) in the Town of Southold" for the parcel of
property SCTM #1000-38-1-1.3 & 1.4.
