(631) 765-1809 MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY,AUGUST 15,2024 A special meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Rd at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday, August 15, 2024 commencing at 4:30 P. M. The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However,this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received. Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Kim E. Fuentes, Board Assistant Nicholas Planamento,Vice Chair Elizabeth Sakarellos, Sr. Office Assistant Eric Dantes,Member Julie McGivney,Assistant Town Attorney Robert Lehnert, Member Patricia Acampora,Member 4:32 P. M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Planamento,Acampora and Lehnert. This resolution was duly adopted(4-0) (Member Dantes not present). EXECUTIVE SESSION: 4:34 P. M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson),Acampora,Planamento and Lehnert. This Resolution was dull adopted(4-0) (Member Dantes not present). 5:22 P. M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, and seconded by Member Acampora to exit Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Acampora Planamento and Lehnert. The Board discussed requests for Extensions and De Minimus approvals. POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE/ADJOURN THE FOLLOWING HEARINGS: - - JONATHAN PRESSEAU#7920—(Adjourned from August 1,2024)Request for Variances from Article XXIII, Section 280-124;Article XXXVI, Section 280-207A(b); and the Building Inspector's February 14, 2024 Notice of Disapproval based on an application for a permit to construct additions and alterations to a single family dwelling-arid-to legalize the "as built" addition and"as built" shed addition,at; 1) located less than the code required minimum side yard setback of 10 feet; 2)more than the code permitted maximum lot coverage of 20%; 3) gross floor area exceeding permitted maximum square footage for lot containing up to 20,000 square feet in area; located at: 2905 Stillwater Avenue (Adj.to East Creek), Cutchogue,NY. This Resolution was duly. adopted (5-0) PAUL BETANCOURT#7932—(Adjourned from August 1, 2024)Request for Variances from Article III, Section 280-15;Article XXIII, Section 280-124; and the Building Inspector's April 19,2024,Notice of Disapproval based on an application for a permit to construct an accessory in-ground swimming pool; at; 1) located in other than the code_permitted rear yard; 2) more than the code permitted maximum lot coverage of 20%; located at: 1050 Champlin Place, (Adj.to Sterling Creek Basin) Greenport,NY. SCTM No. 1000-34-5- 2.1. RESOLUTION:A motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to CLOSE HEARING AND RESERVE DECISION. Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson) Planamento Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0) (Member Dantes not present), b) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to approve minutes from the Regular Meeting held on August 1, 2024. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson) Planamento Acampora and Lehnert This Resolution was duly adopted 4-0) c) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: A Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert, to GRANT a second one year extension to#7346 Aleksander Myftarago, 135 Oak Place, Mattituck,NY. SCTM No. 1000-142-1-11. Extension to expire on September 17, 2025. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson) Planamento Acampora and Lehnert Resolution was duly adopted(4-0)..
