POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Call to Order. Pledge of Allegiance. Approval of the Audit of Bills of May 4, 2004. Approval of the Minutes of the April 20, 2004 Meeting. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 359. Grant permission to Captain Martin Flatley to attend the Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar June 13-18, 2004 in Princeton. 360. Grant permission to Danielle Carragher to serve an internship in the Southold Town Justice Court. 361 Grant a refund to Brinkmann Electric Corporation, representing the amount they paid for a bid document they returned. 362. Amend resolution #351, adopted at the April 20, 2004 meeting changing the date and place of Emergency Medical Dispatching training for PSD Karen Harney to April 23-25, 2004 in North Babylon. 363. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for the position of full-time Assistant Cook for the Human Resource Center. 365. Grant permission to Police Chief Cochran to attend the NYS Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Training Conference August 8-12, 2004 in Corning. 366. Rescind resolution #296 adopted at the April 6, 2004 Town Board meeting executing a lease agreement with Canon Business Solutions-East, Inc. 367. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a (revised) lease agreement with Canon Business Solutions-East, Inc. 368. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Consultant Agreement with C & S Engineers, Inc. for construction observation and administration of the apron & access taxiway project at Elizabeth Field Airport. 369. Amend resolution #294 adopted at the April 6, 2004 Town Board meeting to change the amount to the bid of Corazzini Bros. for Type 6 Asphalt to $39.95. 370. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2004 budget to appropriate funds for program supplies and materials, Programs for the Aging. 371 Accept the bid of Corazzini Asphalt, Inc. for the Elizabeth Field Airport, Apron and Access Taxiway. 372. Grant permission to Police Chief Cochran to attend the International Association of Chiefs of Police training seminar "Internal Affairs - Legal and Operational Issues" June 7-10, 2004 in Durham, NH. 373. Authorize and direct the Fishers Island Ferry District to renew the Airport Operators Liability Policy #3PR86307, administered by McMann Price Agency, Inc. 374. Grant permission to Town Engineer Richter to attend an AutoCad Computer Training Course May 11, 18 and 25, 2004 in Hauppauge. 375. Grant permission to Matthew Krupski to create a new nature trail on Town property for his Eagle Scout Project. 376. Appoint Ron McGreevy to the Architectural Review Board. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign the 2004 Youth Bureau Agreement for the Southold Youth Service Program. 379. Recognize the week of May 2-9, 2004 as "Municipal Clerks Week" and extend our appreciation to Municipal Clerk Elizabeth Neville and all Municipal Clerks. 380. Authorize modification to the Whole Town 2004 budget to appropriate donated money for FCC licensing for a communication tower at the police department. 381 Amend resolution #332 to change the effective date ofKaren Harney's PSD appointment to April 22, 2004. 382. Retain Frank A Isler, Esq. as special counsel in the matter of Amerada Hess Corp. v. Town. 383. Set 5:00 p.m., June 1, 2004, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to the Affordable Housing District (AHD) in the Code of the Town of Southold." 384. Appoint Mary C. Wilson, Esq. as hearing officer in the disciplinary charges brought against a Town employee. 385. Appoint Mary C. Wilson, Esq. as hearing officer in the disciplinary charges brought against a Town Highway Department employee. 386. Ratify the settlement agreement dated April 26, 2004 regarding a Town employee. 387. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for stakeholders to participate in the hamlet planning study, said advertisements to appear in the Traveler Watchman and Suffolk Times. 388. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute the Agreement with the North Fork Animal Welfare League, Inc. 8 2. (hold) 390.
