I just received prints of the survey(I can drop it off if the review is easier with a print). Mr.Tavani had replaced the front stoop, a utility closet on the west side (8.3 x 11) and a pergola was added. We applied for an "as built" building permit but we were not sure if the structures needed a variance (possible setback issues for the stoop and utility closet-very minor issues). The survey also allows us to obtain the permit for the pergola. He also has an electrical inspection (one was done and he needed to make some electrical repairs before we could close out this permit). The electrical repairs are done and I will be scheduling the follow-up electrical inspection. Can you please let me know if we are going to need a variance (if we do please issue the notice of disapproval). Hopefully we do not need the variance and we can close out the permits for any"as built"structures. Vincent, Regarding the house,the permit needs to be renewed (speak to one of the office assistants to obtain the amount that will be due). In addition,the inspector has requested certification on the plumbing, insulation and framing/strapping. No inspections had been called in by anyone so we have nothing on record. I believe a final electric inspection is also r required. the revised plan to include the laundry room, I will reuse the plans here and remove notes I had on it that indicated it was not part of the original approval, but the certification that is to be provided must also include work to the laundry room. I do see there are 3 pending applications in our office for review---two pergolas and an outdoor shower.
