Through my Site inspection, and correspondence with the builder and the
owner, including review of photos of the ledger board connection, taken by the
owner, I am certifying that the deck ledger board 15 a Single 2 X 8 ACQ pressure
treated Southern Pine ledger, attached to the dwelling with SIMPSON Strong-Tie
Strong-Drive SDWS TIMBER Screws (Exterior Grade). The screws were installed at
19" on center in a 'W pattern (staggered top and bottom), and are approved for
use with ACQ pre55ure treated material. I am certifying that this detail 15 correct
and 15 adequate to Support the'deck a5 designed.
