The inspection covered the Footings & Foundation of the new Screen Porch structure. The areas inspected included the excavation, reinforcement, footing depth, size and reinforcement, pier depth, size and reinforcement. The inspection was completed before backfilling. Inspection Result-The footing and pier work was done according to amended plans dated 06.06.23 and in compliance with the applicable sections of the IRC, NYS and Southold Town Building Codes. In July of 2023, 1 inspected the Framing &Strapping at the noted location. Items inspected included lumber type/grade, lumber size, dimensional spacing, framing connections, header sizes, bearing, continuity strapping and integration with the concrete foundation. The framing work was done according to the approved plans and the amended sketch submitted with this letter and were all found to follow the applicable sections of the IRC, NYS and Southold Town Building Codes. Inspection Result—Based upon inspection of this project and to the best of my knowledge, belief and professional judgment, construction as installed complies with the plans and applicable codes of the IRC, NYS and Southold Town Building Codes.
